Bio

Born in Toledo Ohio, Tim received a BFA from Ohio University in 1984. A studio arts major his areas of concentration were drawing, painting, and graphic design.


As an illustrator he created notable illustrations for Bath and Body Works, Coca-Cola, Anheuser Busch, General Electric, Golf Magazine and the Chicago Tribune. Working under the pseudonym of Tim Stout, he produced stylized, art deco inspired illustrations for business publications such as Mutual Funds Magazine and Forbes and many Fortune100 companies including Procter and Gamble, IBM, Kimberly-Clark and AT&T.


” The illustration assignments that involved portraiture were the ones that brought the most personal reward and were often the most challenging. This was the area of art which I felt most passionate about and has directed the evolution of my career.”


An adjunct professor at the University of Dayton since 1993, he has also taught at the Dayton Art Institute and has lectured at colleges, schools and professional organizations.


Tim and his wife Linda have five children and live in Kettering, Ohio.
